'The Chimney.' Jesus College

The main entrance to Jesus  college is a walled passage, known as 'The Chimney' which is derived from the Middle French word chemin, meaning path or way. A handy place to leave your bike it seems. The main entrance 1496-1516, has some intricate patterned brickwork and leads to the First Court. I took advantage of the brief sunny spells to get out for a while and carry on looking at this college, which I have blipped a few years ago.
