Hurrying Home

A familiar Cambridge scene showing the pathway across New Square and over the road to Christ's Pieces. This route joins the Grafton shopping centre to the city shops and Grand Arcade. The wind was very strong today so, with my shopping bags full, I hurried home to warmth and a nice cup of tea. I stopped for a moment to get a couple of pictures but the weather wasn't really nice enough to go anywhere else. As a child I remember when aged about 7, I learned to turn somersaults over these little railings !  Also New Square green had been taken over as a car park.
