Multi-Pack
A slightly earlier start than usual so I could drop Andy at the train station. It was a light and sunny morning and it felt as though the weather were tantilizing us with Spring.
The countryside near here is very wooded and much of it with oak and hazel trees. The multiple stems of the hazel especially appeal to me. Some are coppiced other just seem to grow like that naturally. Last summer we cut hazel stems to create stakes for my plants at the allotment. Already the hazel catkins dangle with their yellow pollen blowing into the air.
