Museo de la Revolucion
Our first full day in Mexico City not really knowing what was what and where to go. We took a city tour bus where you can get on and off so looked at a few places, including this one - Museo de la Revolucion. It's an amazing structure, both externally and internally, and recently renovated including a lift going right up to the top and then quite a few steps up to the very top with views across the whole city, or at least as far as the haze would allow! MC is a huge, sprawling, industrial, messy place with many interesting buildings. Lots of poverty evident too with street pedlars, food sellers and children trying to sell a few homemade cards or nick nacks, many homeless sleeping all over the place and innumerable couples of all combinations overtly canoodling together.
I've included an extra taken from inside the lift looking down. Can't seem to add extra with using computer- I'll put in on later or on Facebook.
