Signs of Spring.

Around home for a good part of the day and then a walk along a footpath we have never used before and going by the look of it neither has anyone else.

During the winter we have had lots of Pheasants in the garden in fact it is unusual to look out and not see at least one.  Until today the Cocks have totally ignored each other often feeding within a yard or so of each other.

Today every thing changed.  These two were under no circumstances going to share the garden let alone feed together.  This shot is taken through the living room window as the squared up to each other  Eventually it was the one on the left with the lighter coloured wings which decided there were safer places to llok for its breakfast.
