Herd of Curlews.

Apparently that is the collective term.
We spotted these out at Higgins Neuk where we took Rona for a stroll and also to see if those elusive Egrets were still about.
They were but just on the edge of my photographic envelope.

Bright and pretty chilly in the breeze while we were out but at least the threatened rain kept away until this evening.
