Stonehenge

If I can only see what you have seen and learn all that you know
Does time tick slowly or pass you by in a blink of an eye?

Sleep my immortal giants sleep
The day will come when they will remember
You will hear their songs
As you rise from your slumber
To once again walk this land
And you will remember all that is past and all that is yet to come

Second time lucky for sure! I went back to the Stonehenge today but this time only to walk around the perimeter of the henge, same as the rest of the tourists. We got soaked by the rain last night during the tour and I managed to take only a few snaps. Surprisingly the shots from last night came out well but I wanted to take some long exposure shots of the stones so went back for seconds. I was blessed with a most gorgeous day and so succeeded in getting the shots I wanted!

The place is truly special, there really is something about it that I can't explain. It was hard to leave and with a really heavy heart I bade it farewell.
