easy like Sunday morning

A typical Sunday morning ritual.  And a step up from jumpers for goal posts.

And while we’re out having some fun, the bread-maker is back home, working hard.  My own recipe this time; or rather, modification of an existing recipe.  

Last Sunday’s effort was 100% rye flour and chocolate stout.  This one is 50% rye and 50% strong wholemeal flour and chocolate stout.  (see extra) 

I’ve had to adjust the proportions of liquid to account for the different flours.  It’s risen a bit more compared with last time and still has the same taste and colour, but with a slightly lighter texture.  Anniemay says “yum”.

Will try swapping the brown sugar for treacle next time.
