Pear Tart

We're having a lazy Sunday after a long dinner at our friends Una and Richard last night.  Marylee prepared this wonderful desert (in preparation ) as a contribution. The extra is a colorful street image on Rue du Tolbiac at the corner of the Avenue d'Italy--I got lucky with a quick shot from across the street (only barely cropped :)

Posted afternoon of 5/2  -- The politician in the small poster (2x) is NOT someone I would have chosen for a blip; he's a rightist who left the RPF and then the UMP, to found his own minuscule party which advocates that France leave the EU.
