into the wilderness

5 of us set out from Dalwhinnie on the old drove road to Feagour to climb a hill. Mr Rat ran on ahead and we met him returning before we got to the hill and 1 didn't come all the way but 3 of us made it up the hill in the background.
It was very wet underfoot, and also very rough in many places, and there was light snow coming down, which became heavier higher up and we were glad for snow goggles. Unfortunately the views of an interesting geological/geographical feature, the Dirc Mhor were rather masked by snow (see extra for a bit of an idea) and I'd like to return on a better day.
Once back down it was tea and cake in the café and home through snow and rain to a dry Dundee
