Mount Iron

This morning, in a fit of silliness, l agreed to climb Mt Iron (well, if my friend Maureen can do it so can l! ) Mt Iron, is situated in Wanaka, Sth Island, and is 536 metres high - l am still lying down whilst l write this.

The photo is of a sculpture at the bottom commemorating the first ever sheep dog trials in 1867.
The extra is of Lake Wanaka with the mountains that make up Mt Aspiring National Park (a world heritage site) in the background.
