Hanging Around on The Banks of The Nile

Taken from the taxi on the way to work this morning. Apologies for the lack of inspiration in these blips since I arrived in Cairo, but I really do get a taxi to work, work, then get a taxi home. It gets dark here by 5.30 ish and I get home around 7 usually and it isn't really an area to go out for a walk in at night. I'll try to do better at the weekend! Course going ok. The other half of the trainees taught today. All fine, but first tears from one trainee after teaching, another one wanted to talk to me about freaking out about her lack of grammar knowledge and another one wanted to share his concerns about his behaviour in the input sessions. All par for the course and a big part of the job is dealing with all this.

I had to do a few hours of Aptis online marking when I came home tonight to get in the minimum hours I should do over a month. I didn't quite get to the minimum, but I did about 4 hrs tonight. I need to be more disciplined!
