Looooong Day

I was happy to be back home in this room tonight after a 12 our day. We did tutorials in the morning and then double marked assignments in the afternoon when the trainees were observing experienced teachers. One of those experienced teachers was blipper Undercovercairo, who, poor thing, was observed doing a cover class for another teacher who was sick. I know this because one of the trainees who observed her was singing her praises. We then gave back assignment one and answered all the questions about the resubmissions. Then, when my energy was fading, I knew I had another hour and a half's work to do preparing the strengths and areas to work on and provisional grades in preparation for the assessor's visit on Thursday.

I eventually got home to a cozy room, but no Bb, who's on his way back to Bcn. Went into the kitchen to make an easy dinner, dropped a whole bottle of olive oil on the kitchen floor. Glass everywhere, oil difficult to clean up. Dinner was a bag of crisps and some cheese after all that as I really couldn't be bothered!

Can't believe it's the end of January already!
