One out of five

I had five balls of clay on the wheel tonight - four balls ended up in the bin and this is the one that I kept. A bit of a frustrating evening, to be honest. I'm not quite sure where the failed pots went wrong so I'm hoping I might get a bit more one to one tuition next week to help me identify the problem. But at least I feel I'm getting better at the first stage of throwing - centering the clay and getting it ready to pull up into a cylinder. The Great Pottery Throw Down starts again this Thursday - I'm looking forward to watching that again.
