Bright note

on a wet and miserable day.

Lots of birds again at the front garden feeders. We are getting far fewer in the back garden which I think may be to due to our removing two conifers in the autumn.

Much harder to get a decent shot of them at the front but I was determined to get a blip of one of the two Bullfinches visiting us at the moment.

This is the best I could do through the window and in the rain. There seemed to be a lot of distracting ground material so I have used vignette and lens blur to give more focus to the bird.

Sounds like more rough weather to come but at least it will be February, a step nearer to spring.
