A view from Jeanneb

By Jeanneb53

A very grey day -

very different to yesterday's blue skies and to this blip taken exactly a year ago in the same place
Today there was no chance of seeing across to Cardiff and the Brecon Beacons from this lovely Victorian pier in Clevedon on the North Somerset coast. It was very slippery on the wooden planking but we still waked out to the end. We weren't the only ones who were crazy, there was a Sea Angling completion going on.

We looked in a couple of the lovely shops here before having a very English lunch, a nice change after Moroccan, which I took down on Friday, Spanish and Indian yesterday. Quite a few of those damp fishermen joined us too.

We declined cake back at Grace and John's house and headed home. Just arrived now. Perhaps it's as well we don't live nearer, not sure we could cope with it too often!

Still we have had a great weekend and I already miss them.
