Brrrrrr.......

Its so cold today - and our heating keeps going on the blink! Luckily we do have a real fire in the sitting room but we almost never use it it now.
Its not snowing here yet but there is a really thick layer of frost on everything, very pretty to look at - from inside, curled up under a blanket with a cat and a hot cup of tea for company...

Claires boyfriend came up last last night so everyone has gone out for a bit of a wander this afternoon and left me to it (Peace and quiet! Hooray!)
I think I'll make some soup and then get the fire going, they are bound to be freezing when they get back in. :o)
