Birthday sunrise

My bed is up against the window just now and I spotted this gorgeous sunrise when I woke up this morning - just had to dash out into the frost to capture it. Hopefully no one else was up early enough to see me shivering in my jammies like a fool!

Its my birthday today and I've had a really lovely day. (No I will not reveal my age - suffice to say I'm 28 this year for the 2nd time...) My sis and I met up with Maggie in Inverness and had lunch at The Mustard Seed which was most tastey :o) And also a bit embarassing because the staff noticed the birthday wrapping paper and gave me a dessert with fireworks in it, accompanied by 'Happy Birthday' music all over the restaurant. Claire has a very good picture of me hiding behind it all red faced!

Got lots of lovely presents and drank lots of wine, then came home to Spag Bol (my ultimate favourite meal!) and more chocolate cake. Mmmmmmm

All in all, a VERY good birthday! :O)
