Magic Day

Christine, Graham and I headed through to Humbie to spend some time with Jim and Liz.

It was a wee bit of a shock to see Jim, in that his thyroid trouble has caused his eyes to really puff up and dry up. It was good to see him in better form, though. Everyone has said that it will take something like 2 years for him to get back his good looks - but he's not all that bad looking just now. We still love him.

After a wonderful meal, we then proceeded with the hi-tech karaoke, finishing up with the inevitable Abba, of course.

I hope that Jim's neighbours aren't music lovers......
