Da Hoosie
It's been a wet day, all day long! Fairly calm, but dull.
My weekend off work, well the daytime anyway, and up early to start my day. After breakfast, me and Sammy got out walkies, and took advantage of the reasonably dry spell and walked around most of Scalloway. The rest of the morning was spent spring cleaning the cupboard under the stairs. I headed down to the Cornerstone café at lunchtime with Brian and Julie for a cuppa. The afternoon was spent at mam's and then we popped along sister Laura. Working in the museum tonight, the restaurant is open and also have 50 folk in the auditorium for a meal for Follow the Vikings, busy night!
Me and Sammy managed to squeeze a peerie walk about at mam's, but didn't get too far with the rain. This old building used to be our hoosie as bairns. It had a roof, and even an upstairs. We used to fill it with old junk folk through out, TVs, cutlery, chairs etc and make it a home or gang huts. Happy memories here :) And Andy Adamson lived in the house next door. Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
