Roaring Billy Rain Forest

Today we drove from Franz Josef to Wanaka down the beautiful coast road and through Mount Aspiring Park.  We stopped off for lunch by Roaring Billy Waterfall and had to walk through this amazing rain forest to get to the actual waterfall. A very noisy and atmospheric place.

This afternoon we arrived in Wanaka and I found it very difficult to believe that I was actually in the place I have seen so many blips of.  AND more to the point the Boss of Tussock Tales phoned us this evening and invited us to go and meet Tussock!  AND we got the Wheaten Greeting!  AND we exchanged gifts of cheesy nibbles and lots of licks!  AND we met the Bossess.  Extra is the Boss and Tussock, the dog I've come all this way to meet!
