Ruby Island Swim

Today's event in Wanaka was the 'Ruby Island Swim'.  There were over 380 competitors, and everyone seemed to enjoy their swim.  This photo is of one of the race starts.  The first extra is of the boats lined up along the lake shore.  The second extra is of the first two competitors finishing their swim.  It was a bit windy, with the temperature a balmy +16C.  

I then drove out to Luggate to see the garage sale that my family had organised.  I must say I bought a few things, am pleased with my purchases.  After lunch I headed to Croquet, 23 of us there today.  It was very hot, just like the games - hotly contested.
