Strelitzias and sunset

I glanced outside this evening and gazed in wonder at the beautiful clouds..the Strelitzia gives it a tropical look!
Been a mixed day today - we went to the biggest funeral we have ever been to, of a good friend ( With five children, seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren no wonder there were so many people!) It was so wonderful hearing moving tributes by the family. Good to meet up with many friends - the norm sadly nowadays.
My lovely friend went home after her accident.
Our daughter's mom-in-law taken to hospital with pneumonia...so she will be staying with us having rushed up from Plettenberg Bay ( she is due to fly back to Abu Dhabi on Tuesday)
Life sure is full of ups and downs...
And now I am watching the highlights of the mens semi final tennis match at the Australian Open...is it Nadal or Dimitrov who will meet Federer on Sunday!!
