Black Hall

A day of chimneys and stairs.
These are the very early cylindrical Westmorland chimneys on top of the 16th century Black Hall in the High Street. You can just see a bit of the ruined Kendal Castle in the background.
There were hints of light as I finished today - we may be turning a corner but continuing to feel utterly exhausted (and my apologies for not catching up on comments and journals).
