Lovely Day

Today was cool but the sky was blue and the sun was shining so we set off for Tynemouth.  We had a walk along the pier and back (see extra photo).  This bird was sitting on the wall of the pier and was wandering backwards and forwards.  I'm no good at identifying birds so I'm not sure what kind he/she is.  Perhaps someone can tell me.

After our walk we had lunch and then did another walk and then called to see friends of the way home.  A lovely day!
