Camlachie doocot
Productive meeting this morning in Camlachie with folk from the housing association. Everyone seemed very positive about our Glasgow 2014 greener legacy proposals for the area (see my blip from the 2nd August), the big challenge now will be to find the money as is always the case I guess.
One of the sites we may look at is known locally as the 'doocot site'. It has a very forlorn looking bench sat in the middle of it that I really wanted to blip but it was pishing down and my colleagues were champing at the bit for their morning coffee so I had to make do with this quick blip of the doocot itself.
Heading to Brussels tomorrow for work which should be ok as long as I get a wee bit of free time to wander round. Glasgow is putting in a bid to be European Green Capital in 2015 and the Cooncil are packing me off to attend a workshop for candidate cities hosted by the commission. Hopefully I'll be able to get a couple of half decent Brusselsesque blips...
