Smoked Octopus
For Christmas Lorraine and I bought ourselves a Muurikka smoker. Actually we purchased and used it a bit before Christmas so it was possibly an Advent gift. We have really enjoyed using it as it is so simple (it is electric but doesn't have an on/off switch or temperature setting) and produces great food.
Today I decided to try smoking octopus but didn't know if it would work. (Lorraine purchased some chicken as a back up.) I used Oak chips to smoke it and I am pretty optomistic it will taste good - need to leave it in the fridge for a couple of hours so am doing my blip while I wait.

The Extra provides an image of the end product and I must say it was fabulous!
