Longevity

Mid-winter flowers keep in good condition for a long time during settled cold weather .... well at least if they are hardy enough and perhaps get a bit of protection.  A bit like us really!

A day of paperwork sorting, hospital for Jamie's hydro, an entertaining (long) phone call to book Ruth assistance for a couple of forthcoming trips and now work.  I did manage a few minutes in the garden where I found this colchicum - the same flower blipped on the 8th of Jan.
