inspired by knitting needles

I love my wooden knitting needles. They are made for circular knitting but you can use them for ordinary knitting too and they wrap up with the knitting into a small space for travelling. I understand they will be allowed through airport security where they are not considered a dangerous weapon. I haven't dared risk it yet, as I have no wish to post them into the box with all the other 'harmful' items.

I love knitting natural fibres too. So what could be a better way of spending a wet afternoon than knitting my beautiful creamy white biodynamic sheeps' wool shorn from those Suffolk sheep living at the Watermill at Little Salkeld.
