Seals at Kiel

5.1C with light rain in the morning. The rain cleared before 12 noon but the cloud remained through the afternoon. Zephyr.

Grocery shopping over by mid morning. Maeve the Deerhound stayed at home.

We waited for a while to make sure the rain was clearing then went the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. On the way round we saw lots of seals on the rocks at Kiel. We had a walk along the beach at Carskey Bay with Maeve the Deerhound then on the way home stopped the car at Kiel and got out to have a look at the seals.
