Gotcha!!

I’ve been trying to capture the tits or robin eating from the beach hut. They are the only birds that are small enough to use it, apart from the wren which mostly feeds off the fence.
 
Home alone today so started with some quick jobs off the list. The rest of the day was spent French polishing and chair caning, plus moving about intermittently to prevent me seizing up. Sitting in the same positing leaning over the chair is a recipe for disaster!!
 
The caning has been slow. The problem of breaking is a headache, but I think I’m getting to know how much soaking the cane needs to make it manageable. I’ve never had to soak it in the past!!!
 
My friend in extras is a collard dove who comes to sit in the seed tray. He hunches up and sits watching what’s going on, but doesn’t eat the seeds!!
