It was good to see blue sky again this morning after several dull days and the thick frost made it easy to traverse the boggy ground as we walked in the Pentlands. To the north, thick fog still lay over the Forth with only the tops of the Lomond Hills in Fife showing but to the south, the view towards the Southern Uplands revealed wisps of mist and fog which dissipated towards noon. The extra shows the view from Scald Law towards Carnethy Hill and the hills beyond.
