Having a French administration nightmare. So much so that the baby's birth may not be covered by my healthcare provider because of an online form I filled in by accident at the start of the year. I tried to cancel it straight away once I realised the effect the form had on my cover, but no.....it's not that easy.

So, today we're in Pierrelatte - at their offices - trying to sort it out. They told us to fill in a form and it would all be fine.  We got home and got a phone call later that afternoon saying it "wasn't that simple actually" and that we'd have to do X, Y, and Z.  And even if we do what they need, it can take a few days/weeks for the change to take place.  So we'll have to go back tomorrow with more paperwork  and hope that they can put it through urgently...and then hope that the baby stays put for another little bit. Scary stuff.
