St Stephen's Kirkby Stephen

Clickychick and I needed to go to visit a supplier near Kirkby Stephen.  Kanyl was up for a "run out"  so the three of us arrived in Kirkby Stephen, nicely timed for lunch.

We found a little cafe where I had an excellent Steak Pie, not your usual mass produced catering pie either.  After lunch we had a wander round the town taking blips.  CC and Kany settled for some interestingly carved seats which were outside the tourist centre.  They can be seen here and here.

The architecture of old churches and the care and quality with which they are built always amazes me.  Far better quality than anything being built today.  So I settled for this shot of St Stephen's which is also interesting as the church is shared by the Anglicans and The Roman Catholics.
