Trout Lake Farmers Market: Back on the bike no.2

I had forgotten there was a Farmers Market every Saturday at Trout Lake. I set off for a mini bike ride with a book in my bag, imagining a short ride around the lake and a read in the sunshine.

Instead, 4 hours later after I'd enjoyed a banana and cherry smoothie and a lamb souvlaki, sunbathed, people watched and read my book (Dave Gorman vs. The Rest of the World), Andy joined me. He'd been out on the club bike ride again, covering as many miles as calories I'd eaten. We managed to fit in an ice cream before the market closed, largely just because the Earnest Ice Cream Company were there and we couldn't walk past them. Andy's Strawberry and Basil (bay-zal as it's called here) was a bad choice.

The women in this blip are volunteers, sitting under an umbrella at the market and offering help with gardening questions. They looked like they were enjoying a thoroughly good natter during the quiet spells.
