Amaryllis

Today I unboxed an amaryllis that I got for christmas and put it in the kitchen with all of Pete's herbs (it needs lots of light and my bedroom doesn't get much). It should be great to see it grow over the next semester! 

Tomorrow is the first day of term for the undergrads, and my first day at work. Thankfully it's a relaxed start, with the afternoon off to hopefully go on a bike ride. 

We then have our first formal of the year and I'm very excited. Being able to have dinner cooked for us twice a week, as well as giving us another chance to meet up with friends away from work and other stresses, is such a great thing to have in our lives. It seems even more special as it is unique to Caius (other colleges only have formals once a week or so). I definitely picked a great college!
