With just a hint of pink ...
Today: less grim than I feared; less bright than the little patch of blue above Dunoon (where I didn't want to walk) suggested; dark before we got home. And I knew all this when we were leaving the car, so I took this photo immediately before the light went. A touch of pink way down the Firth, around Ayr, probably, and slight brushings of colour on the near clouds, suggesting a sunset that was well hidden behind the thick grey blanket over Bute.
Later there were two noisy and wonderful skeins of geese in the gloaming. I took a wee video of them, to capture the sound. But you'll have to look elsewhere for that ...
