Sunlit clouds

...above the snowy hills around Glen Massan. We were too late to catch the sun this afternoon; it really only gets to Benmore Gardens in the morning in winter. This contributed to a rather interesting descent from this high point: while much of the ground was kept wet and ice-free by the vegetation, dead leaves and so on, there were open sections of path that were hideously icy and had us instantly tottering like the ancients we probably are.

However, a bit of ingenuity and a dash of intrepidity got us down on this, another day when I have succeeded in swimming half a mile as well as having a hike. I can smell Mr PB's curry cooking downstairs ...
