Five Wishes

I spent a portion of this day, prior to snagging this photo of young adults, working on my "Five Wishes" document. I learned about this website during a Buddhist Program on the "Heavenly Messengers," ( aging, illness and death.) It was empowering to be in a program with 85 others as we tackled these sensitive issues under the guidance of excellent teachers. It is a conversation that will move to the forefront as we "baby boomers" head into the final stages of our lives. Sharing my wishes with my loved ones and family regarding end-of-life matters clarifies it for me, and provides guidance for them.
