Shivering on the South Bank
We had a few hours to kill in central London, and it was a cold, clear day. The first plan, to ride the London Eye, came to nothing - it wasn't running.
So we headed to Tate Modern and up to the viewing terrace on the top floor. We were nearly blown off out feet, and it was too cold to linger for long. Spectacular panoramas up and down the Thames. So many new buildings which seem to be made mainly from glass.
The blip is yet another, in the course of construction.
