Nice Job

Sitting in a first floor window of a property that's being redeveloped in George Street, presumably on security duties, judging by the high-viz gear. Chatting on the phone, sitting at ease,  watching the passing crowd slithering about on the icy pavement and clutching their coats tight to try to stop the icy wind from penetrating. Not a bad way to spend Thursday afternoon. 

There's no snow in Edinburgh. But it is very, very cold. That's my excuse for not noticing that the camera was on some random setting. 

Errands done, now sitting by the fire and hoping that the trains are running to schedule tomorrow as we set out - at 6.15 am - for a trip to Surrey (where it's rumoured to be snowing!)
