Muddy Waters

The promised snow didn't arrive in our neck of the woods, but it did rain heavily yesterday.

I went for a walk again at lunchtime and although it was clear and bright it was also cold and windy.

As a result of the rain the water in the brook was brown and flowing relatively quickly and, while not particularly picturesque, it was typical of this type of year.

Pleased to have finished work for the week. Things are beginning to ramp up again after Christmas and people are suddenly interested again in projects they lost interest in back in mid December. And now of course they are all more urgent than before. Still, that can wait till Monday now....
