Made it so far

The snow arrived during the evening and roads around the county ground to a halt. It's really no surprise - many of the key roads are hills so any snow or ice or anything else which makes them slippy will have a big impact. The lane outside was only passable with extreme care for the first few hours of daylight but thawed out and was clear by lunchtime. Because I'm stocked up I didn't need to venture out so it's all good.

In other news - I binge-watched "No offence" series 1 on catch-up yesterday. Absolutely wonderful! I missed it entirely but have enjoyed the first two episodes one series 2 so I thought I'd check it out. I recommend it highly; it's on Channel 4's website.
