False Alarm

Think it's about time the media in this country stopped sending out scare stories about the weather.
We live on an island, our weather changes quite a lot, day to day, that's probably why we Brits are obsessed with it.
The expected deluge transpired to be a light dusting as seen here!

Took this on the way back home from an early routine appointment at the doctors. Have been hearing all sorts of reports this week about GPS now seeing patients for an allotted time of ten minutes. My experience could not be more different, our lovely doctor gives us all the time we want, today was no exception.
He once told me he always thinks "If this was my parent what would l want for them? ". He then tries to provide what his answer would require. Isn't that a great philosophy?

Just making cauliflower cheese soup, cauli's were cheap in Aldi yesterday and l'm using up the last of the uneaten Christmas cheese board as it goes out of date this weekend.

Debating whether to go see La La Land this evening or tomorrow, now l'm really looking forward to that!
