A beach with variety

After a day at sea we berthed at a very hot Costa Maya in Mexico. Again the main shopping area was in a gated compound but we took a local taxi to find a nearby beach where we spent a very lazy but fun day in warm shallow waters, testing our snorkel gear ready for tomorrow. This image shows the village at the beach where masseurs were kept busy under the shade of palm trees.

News from J is that he is progressing and the medics are hoping he might be fit for transferring back to UK at the week end. Unfortunately he and his Dad will not be able to join us for the end of the cruise or indeed the extra days we have planned to stay in Florida.
