The Long & Winding Road

There was a dusting of snow today.
I was out early enough to get some tracks.
Obviously the dog was a bit surprised - to the extent that he appeared to fall over. Crazy dog!
My leaf addiction got the better of me I am afraid to say.
I attempted to get a shot of one of the snow flurrys passing through - but it isn't great (small flakes didn't help).

At lunchtime I again came across some lines of snow which do not marry up with the tree shadows. At other points there are single lines running across the paths, but they are where there are conduits to allow water movement without flooding the path. There is nothing of this nature here. Weird.

The pond had a film of ice/slush on it which gave the surface a nice matte finish.

SWMBO had a 4 hour 'nap' this afternoon, but I doubt very much it will prevent her sleeping all night. I think she is close to reaching her dream of hibernation.
