Blipping a blipper

Hibou in action. Sometimes the figure just makes the photo. This morning we could tell that there would be mist on Swan Lake and we weren't wrong! The swans kept emerging from the mist, then remerging into it again. Is that where the term mysterious or "mist eeriness" comes from?
