500+ Winters and still standing...

The oldest tree (a sweet chestnut) in our area is a landmark and is by the road to our house. What changes it must have seen in its time. Luckily there are still fields and many of its "children" around it. The land will never be built on so it will keep growing I guess.

Swan's neck seems to be popular, thanks to everyone who liked it. The poor swans must have had a hard day today, it hasn't stopped snowing.
