New photo display

My car was collected yesterday for its service and they did leave a courtesy car but I couldn't get it started at first. I decided I would put it on the drive and leave it just in case I struggled again.
This morning the M6 was horrific so I knew the car wouldn't be back until this afternoon. I decided to clean my bedroom, do washing then start on updating some of my photo frames. I was bought a lovely frame for Christmas so I've put that up and changed the pictures in the spare bedroom.
I have a lovely landing and I'd put a hotch potch of pictures up and it looked very dated. Towards the end of AYWMC 2016 Emma Davies gave ideas for displaying photos which inspired me to go to IKEA. I bought these frames before my holiday and thought they would look good with mono prints in. I originally was going to put them on the wall going up the stairs but this morning I had a flash of inspiration. I spent all morning finding the photos and mounting them. I even used a tape measure, it was difficult getting them level as I've no one to help me. I'm really pleased with the effect and feel it looks really modern now.
I've looked at my cruise pictures now and I'm going to get squares printed and hang them on the wall going up the stairs. That's for another day though. A very productive and enjoyable day. I did have a walk to the shop so had some fresh air.
