Mizuna

We went up to the allotment to dump some over-ripe kitchen compost and to feed the little blighters; some of the garlic is starting to poke through the earth so it wasn't all dug up as I had feared. The fox has continued trampling the patch, however - looks very much like Scottish country dancing to me. Also a pea, or two.

The green stuff is still going strong - more miner's lettuce (hmm) and mizuna. Lovely to look at (and impressively hardy) but I have yet to detect much of a flavour. There may be vitamins lurking within I suppose.
